Description
There is nothing better for the holidays than a delicious Baked Hickory Smoked Ham. One day I took out one of our Bone-In hams and this is what John and I came up with. Easy and delicious!
Ingredients
For the glaze
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbls of ginger powder
- 1/4 tsp of cardoman
- 1/4 tsp of cumin
- 1/4 tsp of cayenne
- 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
- pinch of nutmeg
- 1 cup of Orange Juice
Instructions
For the ham
- Score the Circle B Ranch Hickory Smoked ham. John uses a really sharp small knife. Smear the ham with Olive Oil, and sprinkle it liberally with salt and pepper. Put it in a roasting pan and pour one bottle of Cider or Hard cider over it.
- Put it in a 350 degree over for one hour. About 30 minutes before it is ready pour this delicious glaze over the ham.
For the glaze
- Combine all in Orange Juice and bring to heat. Cook for a few minutes or until the mixture starts to bubble and get a little thicker. Pour over the ham and cook for 30 minutes longer.
- Take the ham out of the over, slice and Enjoy!
Notes
- Try it with roasted new potatoes and steamed broccoli. Yum!
