I have been making my sauce and meatballs for as long as I can remember. When my children were small, typical Sundays consisted of making sauce and meatballs in the morning and early afternoon to have spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. That tradition went on for years and continues to this day. If it were not for my Nana Rina and my mother, Vera, I would not have learned how to make the sauce you know today as Marina’s Italian Style Tomato Sauce and my Marina’s Italian Style Meatballs. As a young girl in Brooklyn, NY I helped my Nana and mom in the kitchen and they taught me everything about old world Italian cooking; they had a passion for cooking that was contagious and it rubbed off on me! I am forever grateful to these two amazing women!
