- 3 large carrots, peeled
- 1 small red cabbage (about 2.5 cups)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds
- 2 Tbsp. sesame oil
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- Pinch of chili flakes
- Salt to taste
- Place sesame oil, seeds, onion, garlic, and the pinch of chili flakes in a skillet over low to medium heat.
- Sauté until onions are translucent; add carrots and cabbage and sauté for an additional five minutes. Add soy sauce and let simmer for five minutes.
